Ellie Jackson

Ellie Jackson enters her third season as the head coach of UPIKE archery in 2022-23. She served as an assistant coach for three years before being named the head coach. 

In 2022-23, Coach Jackson's squads finished fourth at the 2023 USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals and had seven All-Americans.

During the 2021-22 campaign, the Bears finished 2nd at 3D Nationals and 3rd at the USA Archery Outdoor Nationals. 
 
In her first season as head coach, two Bears earned National Champion honors in Kirklin Newsome (Men's Bowhunter) and Emily Dendinger (Women's Bowhunter).

In 2019-20, the team had a record breaking year until Covid-19 with a 3rd place finish in the 3D MSC Conference, 2nd place at 3D USA nationals, and 1st place at indoor MSC conference.
 
Jackson arrives at UPIKE after a four-year collegiate archery career at Cumberlands where she also served as an office assistant with archery during her senior year.
 
As a student-athlete, Jackson is a four time All-American, earning the honor in outdoor competition in 2017 and 2015 and 3D in 2016 and 2015.
 
Jackson was part of five overall team national championships as well at Cumberlands, also won the 2015 3D national title and 2015 outdoor championship. She was also a part of the triple crown, winning all three national championships in one year USCA 3D 2016,  2017 USCA Outdoor Team National Championship and USCA Indoor national title that same year.
 
The Frankfort native collected an team first-place finish in the 2015 USCA 3D Women’s bowhunter Division.
