GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Pikeville women's soccer season ended in high fashion on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over Bob Jones University.
Sophomore
Eleanor Hollingsworth found the back of the net for the second time this season off a pass from freshman
Carmen Koster. It came at the 81:55 mark off Koster's corner kick, tapping it in from close range.
The goal rewarded sophomore keeper
Chelsea Schulte with a shutout, her third of the season. The native of Burlington, Ky., recorded six saves to keep the Bruins off the scoreboard.
The win gave the Bears the season sweep between the evenly-matched clubs. Pikeville beat Bob Jones 2-1 at home on Sept. 25.
Pikeville got 15 shots on goal, with Koster's six leading the way.
The Bears finished the season with a record of 5-11.
