CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Makayla Mendoza broke a 2-2 tie with a goal in the 90th minute to lift the University of Pikeville women's soccer team over Tennessee Temple 3-2 on Tuesday.
The freshman from Palm Desert, Calif., finished with two goals in the game, while
Kayla Scott also scored a goal for the Bears.
With the win, UPIKE improves to 6-6 on the season, while Tennessee Temple drops to 5-9-1.
