ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. -- The University of Pikeville men's and women's bowling teams attended the annual NAIA Awards Banquet on Friday night where five Bears were named All-Americans.
On the women's side, KT Simpson and Brianna Larson were named First-Team All-Americans, while Fallon Tallman and Shelby Fromm were second-team selections.
Two others earned individual awards as Megan Hedgespeth was named the NAIA's top rookie and Ron Damron was named the nation's top women's coach.
For the UPIKE men, Zack Fylling took home all-America honors, being named to the second team.
The NAIA Team Championships wrap up on Sunday from Arlington Lanes.
