Box Score ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- The University of Pikeville women's soccer team played to its first tie of the season, finishing 100 minutes of action knotted 2-2 at Warren Wilson on Tuesday.
UPIKE (0-11-1) took a 1-0 lead in the first half with the Owls had a miscue on a clear attempt and Tori Dillon took advantage with the unassisted goal. But before the break, Warren Wilson found an equalizer.
After the Owls (2-5-1) scored again in the second half, it was the Bears that found an equalizer as Skylar Chapman finished a breakaway for another unassisted score.
It was UPIKE's second overtime game of the season and the first to go to double overtime after losing 3-2 at West Virginia Tech in the season opener.
