Five UPIKE bowlers named NAIA All-Americans, Brown named Coach of the Year

TOPEKA, Kan. -- A total of five UPIKE bowlers across the men's and women's programs were named NAIA All-Americans at their National Invitational Banquet on Thursday night, while women's coach Bobby Brown was named the NAIA Coach of the Year.

The UPIKE women's program had four bowlers named to the All-American teams. Mallory Liversedge, Lauren Piotrowski, and Jessica Wolfe were all named to the All-American First Team.  All three were also First Team All Mid-South and won Bowler of the Week awards throughout the year.

Brittney Turcotte was tabbed to the Second Team list, while also picking up the Rookie of the Year award. Turcotte was also MSC Bowler of the Week back in October.

On the men's side, Alex Hoffman was named to the Second Team All-American list. Hoffman was also a First Team All Mid-South selection and was the Bowler of the Week on November 7.
