Beavercreek, Ohio – UPIKE men's bowling won the programs third tournament of the season over the weekend, besting 25 teams at the Roto-Grip Raider Classic.
Both the varsity and the JV1 unit won the points standings, with JV2 finishing fourth of 12 teams. The varsity squad totaled 8703 pins through five team and 16 baker games to claim the team title.
Bryce Oliver continued his dominant 2022 run, claiming his third individual tournament title this season. Oliver knocked down 1140 pins, trumping the runner up by 20 pins. Oliver averaged 228 pins per game.
Claiming his first All-Tournament distinction of the season was
Matteo Cittadino who dropped 1099 pins to fourth overall. Cittadino averaged 219.8 pins per game.
Four of the Bears' JV team members claimed all-tournament including Christopher LeSueur (2
nd),
Blake Hisle (T-3
rd),
Marchello Carrossellia (T-3
rd), and Jeffrey Dovenbarger (5
th).
In team game play, the Bears dominated, finishing with 5323 pins which was 159 better than runner-up Marion University. UPIKE's best team game was the second where they totaled 1135, the second best single-game score of the tournament.
UPIKE totaled 3380 pins in baker play, averaging 211.25 per game which secured the win for the Bears.
The Bears currently sit at ninth overall in the USBC power rankings, and remain tied for first in the MSC.

th as they head to Smyrna, Tenn. for the Brandon Burns Memorial.
