Bowling Green, KY – Men's golf completed the MSC Championships Tuesday afternoon, tying Freed-Hardeman for ninth in the 11-team bracket.
The Bears shot a 54-hole score of 963 (+94), clubbing their best round in the second half of Monday's 36 holes with a 309 (+21).
Blake Maupin managed the best individual finish for the Bears, tying for 10
th of 54. Maupin, who was named Second-Team All-MSC over the weekend, carded a 225 (+9) overall. Monday's round two saw the junior shoot an even par which was his best round score of the match. Maupin carded a 76 (+4) through the first 18 and a 77 (+5) in the final round. Maupin shot for par on 14 holes in the second round, clubbing a pair of birdies.
Climbing two spots with his day two performance was
Broc Crist, finishing 38
th. Crist carded a 78 (+6) in round three, after shooting 80 (+8) in the first two rounds.
Nick Garrett jumped a spot on day two as well, finishing tied for 48
th. Garrett shot scores of 85, 80, and 83.
Tyler Ford finished tied for 50
th with a 54-hole score of 251 while
Nate Feese totaled 254 to finish 52
