Owenton, Ky. – The Bears boasted the top two finishers en route to a tournament win at the Klash In KY this past weekend. 

Sophomore Joshua Wiese, who had five birdies on par fives last weekend, finished first overall. Wiese had three birdies on par fives and clubbed a 73 on day two. It is Wiese's first time as a UPIKE Bear finishing first at a tournament. 

Blake Maupin finished right behind Wiese, clubbing a +4. Mapuin shot a 73 on day one and a 75 on day two. The senior from Richmond, Ky. led on day one after back-to-back birdies on holes 13 and 14. 

It is the second time Coach Dustyn Reinstetle's squad has claimed first place at a tournament.
