Cumberland, Tenn. – UPIKE men's golf took sixth in the Mid-South Conference Spring Showcase on Monday and Tuesday. 

Joshua Wiese was the Bears highest finisher in the final standings, tying for tenth place. Wiese clubbed  a 72 in round two, highlighted by back-to-back birdies to start off. Wiese birdied again on hole six. 

UPIKE's second best individual finish belonged to Jonathan Bryant. In round one, the freshman from Pikeville, Ky. birdied twice in round one which included a 494-yard par five on hole four. Bryant birdied on hole four in the second day for one of his three round two birdies. The highlight of Bryant's performance was a par five eagle on hole 11. 

The Bears next outing will be at the Mid-South Conference Championships on April 24th-25th in Bowling Green, Ky.
