ARLINGTON, Texas - The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Selection Committee announced that University of Pikeville Assistant Women's Bowling Coach Breanna Clemmer has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2026 PANAM Bowling VI Pan American Women's Adult Championship, set to take place Sept. 27-Oct. 3 in Bogotá, Colombia.
Clemmer is one of six athletes selected to compete for Team USA at the international event, joining Katelyn Abigania, Julia Bond, Annalise O'Bryant, Elizabeth Teuber and Maggie Thoma on the roster.
A longtime member of Team USA, Clemmer has represented the United States since 2019 after competing for Junior Team USA from 2014-18. Throughout her international career, she has earned 13 adult Team USA medals and 11 junior Team USA medals while establishing herself as one of the nation's premier bowlers.
Among her many accomplishments, Clemmer won the Team USA Trials in 2023 and captured two gold medals at the 2022 Pan Am Bowling Women's Championships. Most recently, Clemmer helped Team USA to a successful showing at the 2025 International Bowling Federation (IBF) World Championships in Hong Kong, earning two gold medals in the team and overall women's federation champion events, along with a bronze medal in singles competition.
The American squad will arrive in Colombia on Sept. 27 before official practice and the tournament's technical meeting on Sept. 28. Competition begins with singles on Sept. 29, followed by doubles on Sept. 30, trios on Oct. 1 and team competition on Oct. 2. The championship concludes on Oct. 3.
"I'm incredibly grateful and honored for the opportunity to travel to Bogotá, Colombia, to represent Team USA on the international stage," said Clemmer. "Competing alongside six incredibly talented women is something I'll never take for granted, and I know we're all ready to give everything we have. Wearing the red, white and blue is a privilege, and I'm excited to showcase our hard work, compete at the highest level and hopefully bring home some gold medals for our country. It's an experience I'll cherish forever!"
The University of Pikeville congratulates Clemmer on her selection and wishes Team USA the best of luck at the 2026 Pan American Women's Championship.
