Hanna Case

Hanna Case was promoted to head coach of the University of Pikeville dance team in 2018 after serving as an assistant for three seasons. 

Case is a native of Phelps and is no stranger to the sport. Throughout her high school years she captured national titles and many state titles before choosing to attend then Pikeville College. 

During the 2022-23 season, Case's squad finished seventh at the NDA Nationals and was named Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year. Case also had two Second Team All-Conference honorees and one First Team All-Conference honoree in 2023. 

In the 2018-19 academic year, Case led the Bears to the NDA College nationals, where they finished fourth in the small college division.

Case danced at UPike for four years, capping off her career as part of the first dance team in school history to compete at the NDA College Nationals where they finished fourth.

After graduating from UPike, Case assisted with the UPike dance team for three years while also being the head coach of the Pikeville Junior High dance team for two years. Pikeville won county titles and two second-place trophies at the state competition under Case’s guidance.

Case resides in Floyd County with her husband Brennan and daughters Brynlee and McKinley.
