Dustyn Reinstetle

Dustyn Reinstetle has been the men's golf coach since 2022.

Reinstetle, a Whitesburg native, was elevated to Head Coach after serving as Assistant Coach under Kevin Auton during the 2020-21 season. During Reinstetle’s year as Assistant Coach, the Bears tied the school record for a two-day stroke total. Under his leadership as Head Coach, the team set a new team scoring record and secured 5 team wins and 6 individual wins.
Reinstetle received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from UPike. He spent four seasons on the golf team. A three-year letter winner, Reinstetle started every tournament in his final three years and played a key role during his time as a Bear, being a part of 8 team victories. He was named a Team Captain his last 2 seasons and was a 4x Mid-South Academic All-Conference award recipient. In addition to several top-10 finishes and an All-Tournament team, Reinstetle’s biggest MSC achievement came in 2019 when he was selected as the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character award recipient.

Reinstetle is currently an associate member of the PGA of America. He doubles as the housing coordinator for 5 Residence Halls on campus.
Dustyn and his wife Ashley, a faculty member at UPike’s Kentucky College of Optometry, reside in Pikeville with their dog Dash.
