UPIKE Athletics

Cailee Marcum has been the head coach of the UPIKE women's tennis program since 2021, and became the men's tennis coach during the 2023-24 season. Her first season saw the Bears finish with a 4-9 overall record before finishing 9-8 during her second season. Marcum coached Andrea Hurtado to a Mid-South Conference Honorable Mention honor the last two seasons.

Marcum grew up in Pikeville, and attended Pikeville High School.She played tennis and later went on to play tennis for UPIKE. Marcum was named Academic All Mid-South Conference and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in both 2017 and 2018. Marcum also cheered while at UPIKE. 

To go along with her duties at UPIKE, Marcum is a teacher at Pikeville Independent Schools.
