Andrew Dekowski

Andrew Dekowski was named head coach of the UPike men’s bowling program prior to the 2024-25 season, following two successful years as an assistant coach. During his time on staff, he helped guide the Bears to their tenth consecutive Mid-South Conference regular season title and sixth straight MSC Tournament Championship.

His efforts were recognized when he was named the MSC Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022-23. In his first year as head coach, Dekowski continued the program’s strong tradition and was honored as the MSC Head Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 season.

Dekowski brings a strong competitive background to the role, having bowled collegiately at William Paterson University in his home state of New Jersey. A two-time All-American, he helped lead WPU’s nationally respected club team to two national championship appearances.

He holds a B.A. in Business Management from William Paterson University and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Pikeville. With a deep passion for the sport and a commitment to player development, Dekowski continues to build upon  UPike’s championship legacy.
