Kaitlyn Abdon is in her first season as a graduate assistant with the UPIKE women’s soccer team, following a four-year playing career with the Bears.

A native of Florence, Ky., Abdon prepped at Boone County High School before joining head coach Gary Warford’s team at Pikeville in 2012.

Abdon finished her career at UPIKE with 24 goals and eight assists for 56 total points. In that span, she also netted four game-winning goals. Abdon tallied a career-high four goals in a 2015 win over Johnson (Tenn.) in a game which she placed a career-best five shots on goal.
