Crystal Pettigrew enters her first season as graduate assistant coach of the UPIKE men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Pettigrew is a native of Lauderdale, MS. She comes to UPIKE from Meridian Community College in her home state of Mississippi, and from there she attended the University of West Alabama.
Pettigrew is a USATF Certified Level 1 Coach and an accomplished track and field athlete. She currently holds the long jump record at Meridian C.C. at 19 ft. 2.5 in.
Pettigrew’s favorite quote is “Scars remind us of where we’ve been. They don’t have to dictate where we’re going.”
