Bradlee Yoder was elevated to assistant director of athletics during the 2023-24 school year after serving as administrative assistant to the Athletic Director since May 2022.
Yoder is responsible for a diverse range of duties within the department including budget management, travel arrangement, event organization, contracts, and more. His role was developed to strengthen the administrative operations of the department and to assist coaches, staff, and student-athletes in several aspects at UPike.
Yoder is a veteran in athletics, holding roles ranging from Associate Head Coach to Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications throughout his career. His career began at UPike in 2012, serving under then Head Men's Basketball Coach Kelly Wells as a student assistant coach. Yoder graduated from UPike in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science, accepting a graduate assistant coaching position with the men's basketball program later that year. As a graduate assistant, Yoder handled several facets of the program including budgeting, travel, and fundraising.Â
After his time with UPike, Yoder accepted the role of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at NAIA Bethany College in Kansas where he aided with budgeting, academic progress, and operations. In 2018, Yoder was named Director of Operations for NCAA DI Nicholls State men's basketball where he served for a season.Â
Yoder returned to Bethany College in 2019 to assume the role of Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach, and also served as Assistant Athletics Director for Athletic Communication. In this role, Yoder grew even more familiar with the broad responsibilities of running an athletic department, writing press releases, creating promotional content, and running the social media for Bethany. Simultaneously, Yoder managed the budget, travel, academic monitoring, and player development for the men's basketball program.Â
Yoder hails from Apple Creek, Ohio and currently resides in Pikeville, Ky.Â
