UPIKE Athletics

Ellie Keene, a native of Bristol, Virginia, joins the University of Pikeville softball program as a Graduate Assistant. She played four years of collegiate softball at Alice Lloyd College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.
During her playing career, Ellie was recognized for both her athletic and academic excellence. Her honors include:

• 2025 – NCCAA Mideast Region Softball All-Region Team (Top 15 players in the Mideast Region)
• 2024 – RSC Softball Scholar-Athlete Team
• 2024 – Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athlete
• 2023 – RSC Softball Scholar-Athlete Team
• 2022 – RSC Softball Scholar-Athlete Team

Ellie is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Strategic Communication at the University of Pikeville. She brings a strong passion for leadership, teamwork, and player development, continuing to make a positive impact on the Bears softball program both on and off the field.
