The first set was close through the end, with neither team taking a lead larger than three points. An error by
Haley Esquivel gave St. Catharine a 25-24 lead, but she bounced right back with a kill and block to give UPIKE the lead. Morris finished off the set 27-25 with a kill.
St. Catharine went on two late 4-0 runs in the second set to win easily 25-15, followed by a closer 25-23 win in the third. The fourth and final set resembled the second as the Patriots used a pair of 5-0 runs to win by 14 at 25-11.
