Box Score PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The University of Pikeville women's basketball team ended the home portion season on a sour note Saturday afternoon, losing to No. 18 Campbellsville University 91-68 on Senior Day in what was also the last home game of Head Coach Bill Watson's storied career.
The Bears went into halftime down 50-40, but the Tigers opened the second half up with a 12-0 run to blow the game open. Senior guard Mackenzie Lee led the victors with 24 points on a 9-of-13 shooting performance before being pulled along with most of the starters midway through the second half.
The Tigers sank their first seven shots to build an early lead and finished the half 16-of-28 (57.1 percent). For the game, they hit half their 60 shots and went 24-of-32 (75 percent) from the line. They also dominated the glass, using 20 offensive rebounds for a 46-25 edge.
Sophomore guard Daziah Kimberland added 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds along with three steals. Junior forward Hayley Hellyer came off the bench to round out all Tigers in double figures with 10, while junior guard Katie Allen had a game-high six assists to go with her six points.
Freshman forward
Peyton Wright led the Bears in the scoring department with 14 points and in rebounding with a game-high eight boards. Junior forward
Brogan Conley had 12 points and four rebounds, while junior guard
Callisha Johnson added 12 points of her own.

Jennifer Grant, along with forward
Anne Klee and graduate assistant Coach were honored before the game as part of the Senior Day festivities, while Coach Bill Watson was honored with a video presentation after the game.
The Bears close out the season on the road, a journey that begins at Rio Grande on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Campbellsville will be home on Thursday in a Top 25 matchup against Georgetown.
