PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Twenty-eight days after their first meeting this season, the University of Pikeville and Bluefield (Va.) men's and women's basketball teams will do battle again, this time at 6 and 8 p.m. ET on Thursday at the East Ky. Exposition Center.

The women tip off first as UPIKE tries to forget a 91-82 setback to Shawnee State (Ohio) on Monday and get a win against a Ram team it lost to on the road 73-61 in early January. This time around Pikeville will have a couple extra weapons with the return of Khalilah Quigley and Lakeria Crowder to the court.

UPIKE and Bluefield played an exciting men's game the first time around in Virginia with the Bears holding onto an 80-77 win with heavy snow and ice falling outside. The Rams lost at home on Saturday to Rio Grande (Ohio), while UPIKE held off Shawnee State for a six-point win at home on Monday.
