WatchPIKEVILLE, Ky. – Coming off a season in which it improved by eight wins overall, the University of Pikeville volleyball team is ready for more as it opens the 2014 season at 6:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday at West Virginia Tech.
The game is scheduled to be streamed live on YouTube, while full stats will be available following the match. The Golden Bears opened their season last week, losing four straight matches 3-0 at the Sonesta Ft. Lauderdale Classic in Miami Gardens, Fla.
Tech's losses came against Missouri Baptist, Jamestown College (N.D.), St. Thomas (Fla.) and Warner (Fla.).
For UPIKE, the away match starts a busy opening week with the Bears returning home on Saturday for a tri-match with Midway and Ohio Christian at UPIKE Gym. Pikeville will play Midway first at Noon, followed by a 4 p.m. start against Ohio Christian.
