GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Bob Jones scored two goals in each half to get past the University of Pikeville women's soccer team 4-0 on Saturday at Alumni Stadium.
The Bruins improve to 5-8 with the win, while the Bears drop to 2-12. Abby Davis led the charge for Bob Jones with two goals, scoring in the 19th and 47th minutes.
UPIKE was only outshot 9-8, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Macarena Acuna, Katie Porter and Kaitlyn Abdon finished with two shots each for the Bears.
Bryanna Schroers played all 90 minutes in goal for UPIKE, coming up with a single save, while Bob Jones' Jessica Baun collected three saves in a complete-game shutout.
Aside from Davis' two scores, the Bruins got a 28th minute strike from Caralise Roach and an 81st-minute goal from Miriam Lozano.
