LEBANON, Tenn. -- Cumberland didn't allow a shot by the University of Pikeville men's soccer team as it won 10-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Lindsey Donnell Stadium.
The Bulldogs got off 35 attempts, putting 17 on goal, which forced Tait Torstensen to come up with six saves in nearly 80 minutes of action. Tyler Holland finished out the game in goal for the Bears without a save or any goals allowed.
Corner-kick chances went Cumbeland's way 10-0 and it also had an advantage in fouls at 5-3.
Chuka Aruh led the Bulldogs in shots with seven off the bench. He ended up with a pair of goals while also dishing out an assist. Alex Marr led the Bulldogs with three goals and Jose Retana was efficient running the offense with a match-high three assists.
The scoring started in the ninth minute by Josh Armstrong, leading to a 3-0 lead at halftime. Including a segment when the Bulldogs scored five times in 10 minutes, they ended up adding seven more scores in the second half.
