PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Both the University of Pikeville men's and women's basketball teams are taking part in events on the road at the end of this week. The 19th-ranked men are in the MSC/SSAC Challenge in Pulaski, Tenn., while the 17th-ranked women will play in the Hoops for Hope, hosted by Grace in Winona Lake, Ind.

Head coach Kelly Wells and the UPIKE men will play three teams from the Southern States Athletic Conference in three days, starting with host Martin Methodist (4-0) at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. The Bears take on Bethel (Tenn.) (4-0) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, then wrap up with No. 22 Faulkner (Ala.) (2-1) at noon on Saturday.

All three games can be watched live through the Martin Methodist Stretch Internet portal here for $5, while live stats can be viewed on the NAIA DakStats webcasts.

On the women's side, the Bears play a pair of NAIA Div. II opponents, starting with Spring Arbor (Mich.) (4-1) at 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by Grace (3-4) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
