WILMORE, Ky. -- The University of Pikeville women's soccer team's first road trip of the season ended with a 4-0 loss at Asbury on Tuesday night. The Bears were outshot 16-6 as they were only able to place three of the attempts on goal.
None of the Bears had more than one shot, while Tori Dillon, Lyndsey Jones and Kallie Moore were the three players to take a shot on goal.
Logan Hall paced Asbury with two goals on just two shots off the bench, while Devon Long and Georgia Clark led he team with three shots each.
Asbury controlled corner-kick chances 5-0 and committed one fewer foul than the Bears at 6-5.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Emily Hubbuch got the game started with a bang, curling in a long shot from the corner in the first minute of action (1-0).
Six minutes later, Long made it 2-0 with a finish of Clark's long, through ball that hit her in stride, allowing her to boot the ball in with one touch.
Just before halftime, Hall scored her first goal after stripping the ball away and taking it by herself for the score (3-0).
Hall finished the scoring in the game in the 69th minute with an unassisted strike (4-0).
