COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson, the No. 1 ranked team in the NAIA, controlled its home court with a 3-0 win over the visiting University of Pikeville volleyball team on Friday night at the Biggers Sports Center.

The Blue Raiders (22-0, 11-0 MSC) connected on .478 percent of their attacks on the way to set scores of 25-7, 25-9 and 25-15.

UPIKE (5-18, 0-10 MSC) managed a .041 hitting mark and had seven service errors with just two aces. Noelani Simpson led the Bears with six kills, while Cecelia Ray backed her up with five. Against a LWC defense that had 15 blocks, Savanna Zakman was limited to just 10 assists.

Ray led the team in digs with five, followed by Simpson and Natalia Gascot with four each.  Ray was a bright spot on the court as she used well placed attacks to tally a .385 hitting percentage, the highest of any Bear with three or more kills.
