PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Black is the new orange when it comes to the University of Pikeville basketball teams against Lindsey Wilson on Thursday as the Bears are asking fans to "Black Out" the East Ky. Expo Center.

Tip-off for the women's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET with the men's game to follow at 8 p.m.

A lot is on the line for the UPIKE men in the race atop the Mid-South Conference standings. Lindsey Wilson is ranked fifth nationally, but is 20-3 overall and 5-3 in the MSC, while UPIKE is ranked sixth with a 22-2 overall mark and 6-2 record in league play. Entering Thursday, the Bears are the lone conference team with just two losses.

On the women's side, Lindsey Wilson brings in a 19-4 overall mark and 6-2 MSC record into the game, while UPIKE is an even 12-12 overall and 3-5 in the MSC. The Bears are coming off a 66-48 win over Kentucky Christian on Tuesday and Lindsey Wilson won 79-68 over Life on Tuesday as well.

Earlier this season UPIKE lost both games at Lindsey Wilson on Jan. 13. The women were dropped 73-65 and the men were even closer at 68-65.
