PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Unruly weather has struck again as rain that stormed the region has pushed back the start of a series between the University of Pikeville baseball team and Kentucky Christian to Noon ET on Saturday.
Originally scheduled to be a single game on Friday, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, the series will now open with a nine-inning game, followed by a seven-inning contest at Noon on Saturday.
The playing of the third game has not been confirmed, but Monday is being held as a possible make-up date. Confirmation will be posted on UPIKEBears.com when available.
The Bears enter the weekend with a 17-12 overall record, while the Knights are 0-22.
