PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown put a damper on UPIKE's senior day by taking both ends of Saturday's doubleheader.
Georgetown won the first game 10-0, and the second game 7-1.
Pikeville wasn't able to generate much offense off of Georgetown's pitchers, only getting 11 hits across bothgames.
Meanwhile, it was not the strongest day in the circle for Bears pitchers. Georgetown got 13 hits in the first game and 10 in the second.
Depending on the results of tomorrow's doubleheader, Pikeville will either be the No. 6 or No. 7 seed in nextweekend's Mid-South Conference Championship.
Pikeville needs two wins tomorrow to be the No. 6 seed, and will otherwise be the No. 7 seed.
This story will be updated later.
