Pikeville, KY – The University of Pikeville women's soccer team lost to Life University on the road Friday afternoon, 6-0. The Running Eagles came out firing in the first half, taking 26 shots, with eight coming on goal. Overall, Life took 44 shots and scored four goals in the first half and two in the second.
Freshman
Ellie Webb took the lone shot for UPIKE in the 44th minute while
Elizabeth Lukens made 12 saves in the contest. This is the fourth straight game where Lukens has made 10 or more saves.
What's Up Next
The loss drops the Bears to 3-10 overall and 0-8 in the Mid-South Conference. They return home to the Bob Amos Grass Field on Thursday, October 21st when they host the Bethel University Wildcats at 4:00 p.m.
