Portsmouth, OH – The University of Pikeville women's soccer team dropped their final regular season game to Shawnee State on the road, 4-0. Shawnee State struck early in the first half, taking a 3-0 lead into the break after scoring in the 11th, 14th, and 26th minutes. They added another tally early in the second half, making it 4-0 in the 47th minute.
UPIKE had five shots in the game with three on goal, as
Kylie Gollihue put two on frame with
Lillie Kluesner adding one.
Isabella Caldwell and
Kylie Maynard both recorded a shot.
Elizabeth Lukens made six saves in the contest, as the Bears finish the regular season with a record of 4-12 overall and 1-10 in the Mid-South Conference.
What's Up Next
The Bears will be back in action next week for the MSC Tournament where they will be on the road for their opening round matchup with an opponent to be determined.
