Bowling Green, KY – The Mid-South Conference announced the football Academic All Mid-South Conference team this afternoon. The members of the Champions of Character team were also announced yesterday.
In order to be nominated for Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter. Coaches nominate for the Champions of Character team based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
The Bears had a program-record 19 student-athletes named to the team. These athletes are

Alexander Carmichael, Amari Hardwick,
Troy Hill, Clayton Horn,
Matthew Horn,
Luke Humphrey,
Bradyn Hunter,
Ryen Livers,
Myson Livingston, Virgil Long,
Dennison Lowe,
Adrian Medacco,
Nicolas Parsley,
Nathan Perkins,
Jacquez Russ, Bryan Russell-Miller,
Lenkel Smith, and
Elijah Stallard. Stallard was also named to the Champions of Character team for the first time in his career.
This is the fourth Academic All-Conference honor for Hill and Lowe. It is the third honor for Carmichael, Humphrey, Parsley, and Perkins. It is the second honor for Bailey, Clayton and
Matthew Horn, Hunter, Livingston, and Stallard. It's the first honor for Hardwick, Livers, Long, Medacco, Russ, Russell-Miller, and Smith.
