Women's Golf Inks Sisters From Canada For 2022 Season

Pikeville, KY – The University of Pikeville women's golf team has just inked twin sisters Carly and Renee Crooks from Toronto, Canada. They come from the Agincourt Collegiate Institute and are both highly successful students and athletes.

Carly comes in with a scoring average of 80.4, with her low round this season being a 71 at the MJT Ontario Series. She has played multiple sports during her time in school, including basketball, volleyball, field hockey, track & field, and ultimate frisbee. Carly is looked at as a versatile player, who is strong in the mental aspect of golf, ball striking, and course management. She is looking to study dentistry at Pikeville.
 
Renee's low round this season was a 70 at the MJT Ontario Series, which was followed up by a 72, which led to her winning the tournament. Like her sister, she also played basketball, volleyball, field hockey, ultimate frisbee, and track & field. Mental toughness is also a strong part of her golf game. At Pikeville, she hopes to study business administration or human resource management. Both Carly and Renee have 3.79 GPAs.
