Dance Lands Three On All-MSC List; Case Wins Coach of the Year

Bowling Green, KY – UPIKE's competitive dance team landed three athletes on the all-conference team and Head Coach Hanna Case was named 2021 MSC Dance Coach of the Year following this weekends Cheer and Dance Championships.

Senior Brooklyn Newsome to what is the first ever MSC all-conference dance team. Teammates Karlea Maynard and Kerrigan McPeek also earned a selection.

Hanna Case, who is in her fourth year as head coach was named MSC Dance Coach of the Year. Case competed as a member of the UPIKE Dance team for four seasons from 2010-2014 before serving as assistant coach through the 2016 season.

In this weekend's action, the Bears finished fourth in the Championship with a score of 66.71. Cumberlands (KY) took the top spot with a 85.17.

The Bears look forward to competing in the virtual NCA & NDA Cheer and Dance Competition on April 10th.
