Pikeville, Ky. – Women's soccer lost their seventh straight Wednesday night at the hands of (RV) Campbellsville. The Bears recorded nine shots but couldn't connect, falling by a final score of 6-0.

Several of the Bears fired shots in the contest, led by senior Kylie Maynard who recorded a pair of shots on goal. Lauren Johnson, Alix Herter, Bianca Ostlund, and Carley Groh all sent shots, with Johnson and Herter placing one on goal.
In goal for the Bears was Elizabeth Lukens to start, playing 45:00 minutes and warding off nine challenges from the Tigers. Millicent Conod took charge the second half, and finished with four saves.

Campbellsville scored in the first minute, but was quickly answered by two straight shots from the Bears. UPIKE's offensive charge led to a shot from Maynard that was saved by the keeper, before Johnson followed up with a shot on frame just over a minute later.

From 9:21 to 19:14, the Tigers played almost entirely in their offensive end, sending eight shots, five of which were saved by Lukens. Campbellsville finally broke through in the 20th minute to make it 2-0. The Tigers added their third and fourth goals later in the half.

Maynard opened the second half with an excellent shot that hit the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Campbellsville netted their fifth goal and it would be six minutes later that Herter almost found net but was batted away by the keeper.
Campbellsville scored their sixth and final goal in the 81st minute.
