Pikeville, Ky. – After notching her fifth all-tournament and first individual victory performance at the East Tennessee Collegiate Invitational, freshman Carly Crooks has been named MSC Women's Golfer of the Week.

Crooks shot a 147 (+1) in the elite competition, tying SCAD-Atlanta's Megan Ahmadi for the top individual score. After opening with a 76 (+3), Crooks shot a season best 71 (-2) on Tuesday, carding six birdies.

The Canadian twin duo of Carly and Renee Crooks has been a dominant force for the Bears this season. Both have earned themselves MSC weekly awards, and now each have tallied individual victories on the season.

Through 10 rounds of play, Carly Crooks is averaging a 77.30 round score. Her finishes so far: second, fourth, third, second, and first.

The Bears are currently competing in Goodlettsville, Tenn. at the Music City Invitational hosted by Cumberland University.
