Bowling Green, KY – The Mid-South Conference announced the dance Academic All Mid-South Conference and Champions of Character teams this afternoon. In order to be nominated for academic all-conference, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

The Bears were second in the conference with eight honorees. These athletes are Makayla Clem, Claudia Hatfield, Britian Johnson, Karlea Maynard, Cheyenne Patrick, Allyson Sizemore, Kassidy Tackett, and Macen Witt. Maynard was also named to the Champions of Character team.

This is the second time that Clem and Maynard have been named to the academic team in their UPIKE careers. It is the first time for Hatfield, Johnson, Patrick, Sizemore, Tackett, and Witt.
