Pikeville, Ky. - The UPIKE women's basketball team is one of the 64 teams selected for the 2023 NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament, their second consecutive trip to the Big Dance. 

UPIKE will enter the tournament as a #5 seed in the Duer Quadrant and will play (12) Grace College (Ind.). The game will take place on March 7th at 8:00 p.m. EST. If the Bears advance, they will play the winner of (4) Rio Grade (Ohio) and (13) Sienna Heights (Mich.). 

Last season, the Bears entered the tournament as the #12 seed in the Duer Quadrant and knocked off #5 seed Indiana Tech before falling to Bryan College in the second round.
