Kansas City, Mo. - Three members of the University of Pikeville dance team were honored Wednesday when they released their 2023 Daktronics NAIA Competitive Dance Scholar-Athlete honorees. 

To be nominated by their institution for this award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended their institution for one full year. 

This year's honorees for 2023 Daktronics NAIA Competitive Dance honorees for the University of Pikeville dance team are Madeline Hamilton, Keleigh Sturgill and Macen Witt. Hamilton, Sturgill and Witt also earned MSC Academic All-Conference recognition as well.
