Bears Draw With Rams

Box Score

Bluefield, Va. - UPIKE men's soccer drew a 2-2 tie with the Bluefield Rams Saturday afternoon.

Seconds later, Paulo Castillo found twine and gave UPIKE a 2-0 lead 37 minutes into the match. The Rams came right back and got some good looks on goalkeeper Adam Di Millo. BU's Drake Cullens cut the Bears' lead in half with a goal in the 42'.

The Rams came out firing in the second half and leveled the score in the 54'. Bluefield's Malte Alm was credited with the cap. UPIKE's defense limited the Rams to just one shot through the rest of the game. The Bears on the other hand, had three shots on goal after the Rams' goal but none found the back of the net.
