DAYTON, Tenn. – Five players scored in double figures as the University of Pikeville shot a white-hot 57.7 percent from the three-point line in a 93-64 win over Bryan College Tuesday night.

UPike improved to 11-4 on a night it nailed 15-of-26 from the outside. The Bears are now 9-2 in AAC play.

Bryan took an early 4-3 lead on a layup by Ian Johnson with 17:27 left in the first half, but UPike responded, going on an extended 19-5 run to take control of the game.

The outburst saw UPike go 7-of-8 from the field, including 5-of-6 from the arc. It began with three straight three-point baskets by sophomore
Bradley Bunch and when senior
Jeremy Dillon capped it off with his second three-pointer of the stretch, the Bears were on top 22-9 with 11:56 left in the half.

The Bears lead remained double digits the rest of the way and reached 18 (44-26) after freshman
Connor Lane nailed a three with 4:48 left.

UPike went 8-of-15 from outside in the first half and led 47-33 at recess.

In the second half, the Bears steadily built their lead until it capped at 33, 93-60, with 2:16 left on a three-point basket by junior
Jordan Howard.

Senior
Issac Stanback and junior
Kyonte Thomas led the Bears with 17 points apiece. Thomas had four rebounds and a team-high five assists while Stanback grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists.

Bunch finished 3-of-5 from the arc for 15 points to go with four rebounds. Sophomores
Keynan Cutlip and
Wade Pelfrey had 11 points each. Pelfrey was 3-of-4 from outside and handed out four assists.

Led by Dillon's seven rebounds, UPike won that battle 30-27.

Johnson paced the Lions with 15 points to go with three rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Dalen Gales followed with 13 points and a game-best nine rebounds, while junior Josh Baugher had 10 points and six rebounds.

UPike will be home on Thursday night, hosting Montreat (N.C.) College in a stand-alone game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Appalachian Wireless Arena.
