Lofqvist had another shot on goal in the 68' that was saved. UPIKE's next shot on goal would tie the game. Kylie Ritter fired a shot past Isanto for the game-tying goal in the 69'.
Between the 80' and 90', UPIKE and Union combined for six shot attempts (five on frame). UPIKE's last shot on goal came from Charlene Lofqvist in the 88'. UCU's final shot attempt came from Iyana Campbell with 12 seconds left in the match, but UPIKE goalkeeper Millie Conod stood tall and net and preserved the tie.
