PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Reinhardt (Ga.) University scored two first-half goals and tacked on another to beat the University of Pikeville 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Bob Amos Park.

The Eagles improved to 7-4-1 overall and 6-2-1 in the AAC, while UPike slipped to 7-4-2 on the season, 5-3-2 in the league.

The first goal of the game came halfway through the 27
th minute when Marta Vicente-Arch scored off a pass from Belle Seward. The Eagles added a goal in the 32
nd minute when Sophie Lopez found Reese Wise to make it 2-0.

The only score of the second half came in the 55
th minute. Riley Welch scored with no assist.

UPike had only three shots on goal in the loss, all of them resulting in saves for Reagan Horton. They were credited to freshman

Charlene Lofqvist and senior
Brianna Fortman.
