PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The University of Pikeville women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday with an 8-0 win over St. Andrews University.

The Bears improved to 8-4-2 on the season and 6-3-2 in the AAC. The Knights fell to 1-14, 1-11 in the league.

Brianna Fortman, who recorded a hat trick, needed less than nine minutes to get UPike on the scoreboard, scoring on an assist by
Kiera Bailey and
Rebekah Christopher. In the 18
th minute,
Charlene Lofqvist scored her fifth goal of the season on a pass from Bailey.

The score moved to 3-0 in the 27th minute when Fortman again found the net.
Ellie Webb had the assist.

It remained that way until the second half when Fortman scored for the third time, this time getting a pass from
Anna Dudas in the 58
th minute.

Webb this time found herself on the scoring end of a play, coming on a penalty kick in the 66
th minute to make it 5-0.

The next two goals were also unassisted, coming in the 71
st minute when
Hailey Hudgens scored her first goal of the season, and in the 78
th minute, this time by Webb, her second of the game and for the season.

The scoring wrapped up in the 81
st minute on a shot by
Sadie Bourgeois, when she received a pass from Christopher. It was Bourgeois' sixth of the season.

Conod recorded the shutout, and didn't face a shot on goal. It was her sixth shutout of this, her senior season.

The Bears have one more home game this season, hosting Truett McConnell (Ga.) University on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bob Amos Park.
