MILLIGAN, Tenn. – The 2024 men's soccer season wrapped up on Saturday for the University of Pikeville with a 4-0 loss at Milligan (Tenn.) University.
The Bears finished their first season under Coach Oliver Hewitt-Fisher with a record of 3-13-2 while going 2-6-2 in the AAC.
Milligan goalkeeper Adria Alles turned away all four shots on goal for the Bears. They were recorded by senior
Anthony Aguilar, sophomores
Juan Farkas and
Samuel Cristancho and freshman
Jay Jackson.
Milligan scored late in the first half to get on the scoreboard. Justin Madejski put it in the net in the 43
rd minute to take a lead to the break.
In the 53
rd minute, Madejski found Alex Panner to make it 2-0. Panner then passed it along 11 seconds later, hitting Biokaego Mbaakanyi for the score.
In the 88
th minute, Liam Lahsangah wrapped up scoring off a pass from Mbaakanyi.
Senior goalkeeper
Adam Di Millo had five saves in the game for the Bears, playing all 90 minutes in net.
