PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Sophomore guard
Allie Stone scored 25 points and handed out seven assists to lead the University of Pikeville to an 84-47 win over Tennessee Wesleyan University Wednesday in the home finale.

The Olive Hill product was 10-of-14 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the arc in the win.

The win raised the Bears to their record to 20-7, their second consecutive 20-win season. They enter Saturday's regular-season finale 17-6 in the AAC.

Tennessee Wesleyan fell to 11-12 overall, 9-12 in the league.

The Bears stormed out of the gates, making sure they'd be in control. Sophomore
India Blyth hit a three before senior
Morgan Stamper scored inside. After junior Anna Crowder got Tennessee Wesleyan on the scoreboard, Blyth scored inside and Stone nailed her first three.

UPike was on top 10-2 with 6:34 left in the period.

UPike closed the quarter on a 16-2 run. It began with three-pointers by Stone, freshman
Rachel Bush and then Stone again. A layin by senior
Bailey Birchfield made it 11 straight for the Bears.

Junior Ella Crowder made two free throws before UPike ended the period with a layup inside by Stamper and a three-pointer by Stone to make the score 31-10.

The Bulldogs opened the second half on a 7-2 run, as junior Cambree Mayo hit a three before junior Jaci Powell and junior Jacelyn Stone sank layups to cut the Bears' lead to 33-17.

UPike, however, responded with a 12-1 run. Stone had five and Bush four while Collopy nailed a three, and that pushed the Bear lead to 45-18.

At one point in the second period, UPike was 10-of-15 from the arc, and at the break, the lead was 52-26.

Stone was joined in double figures by Stamper, who finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, giving her the 51
st double-double of her remarkable career.

Senior
Julia Parker finished with 12 points, while sophomore
Katie Collopy came off the bench for 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Stone and Mayo, who had eight points each. Junior Sierra Bates came off the bench for seven rebounds to lead the team.

The Bears will wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Gainesville, Ga., to play Brenau University. The game is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m.
