HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The University of Pikeville wrapped up play in the Ness Bros. Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday afternoon when it lost to Florida Memorial University 65-59.

The Lions shot exactly 50 percent from the field in the win. They hit 4 for 13 from the arc and went 11 for 14 (78.6 percent) from the line.

UPike, meanwhile, hit 40 percent overall and 10 for 31 from outside. The Bears sank all nine of their free throws in the loss.

Bradley Bunch led the Bears with 16 points and four rebounds. Senior
Keynan Cutlip followed with 12 and hit three of his five three-pointers. Cutlip also had three steals.

LA Walker hit three three-pointers of his own to finish with nine points. He matched Bunch with four rebounds.

Keian Worrix scored five points and led all players with five assists.

Florida Memorial was led by graduate student Jeffrey Selden, who scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. Junior Devin Carter tossed in 12.

UPike will begin league play on Wednesday night when it hosts Bluefield (Va.) University. The game is the second of a women-men doubleheader and is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
