LA Walker scored 17 points to lead three Bears in double figures in a 71-58 win over Milligan (Tenn.) University on Wednesday.

UPike is now the first AAC team to double digits in the win column at 10-2 and remains the last team unbeaten in the league at 6-0. It also has a nine-game win streak.

Walker, who scored 17 on only eight shots, was 5 for 5 from the line. He also had four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Milligan led twice, both times in the first two minutes of the game. A three-pointer by Elijah Bredwood put it up 5-4 with 18:01 left. Senior
LA Walker sank two free throws to put the Bears on top. The Buffs tied it at eight, but the Bears never trailed again.

The Bears had three five-point runs to push the lead to 29-20 with six minutes left after Walker scored inside.

UPike scored the final 12 points of the first half to pull away. Four Bears scored, led by Walker with five, and when Bunch nailed a three-point shot, the halftime lead was 41-25.

In the second half, the lead grew to as much as 26 when the Bears led 64-38 with 6:20 to play when sophomore
Jaylan Rigdon nailed two free throws.

Zion Blevins, who had 12 to go with 10 rebounds, and senior guard
Keian Worrix with 10 and three steals.

Bradley Bunch had nine points and a season-high 13 rebounds.

Jake Benham led the Buffs with 15 points, hitting four three-pointers and grabbing five rebounds. Liviu Anton had 14 along with six rebounds.
